I have a 2003 C Class Sports Coupe which recently went into a garage for a complimentary full valet. Very nice, except it has come out with two problems that seem totally unrelated and neither can I see that the guys who cleaned the car were responsible.

1. Remote control now only works close up - very close. Changed the batteries because that was the obvious thing but no, still only works within a few inches of the sensor on the door.

2. It's as though the aerial has unplugged on the radio. FM is just about ok but LW and MW are just screeching white noise.

When it went in for a clean all was well, when it came out - this. Any thoughts please?
