Thanks to everyone for all your help. This is for brian if you are still up. I see you are a senior fellow on the forum. Can you give me any info on the interchangeability of the hubs from my parts car '79 300sd to my driver '84 300td. So far I know the wheel bolt pattern is the same, the disc is different. My research indicates the wheel bearings are the same part # for the 2 cars. I can not see any reason for the parts not to be interchangeable. I guess I will find out for sure tomorrow morning when I pull the hub off the wagon.
