I broke the t fittings on my main vacuum line on my 1980 300td. The main tube material seems to be almost rock hard. Is there a way to remove the broken t's or a way to fix them. A replacement hose with the fittings is aorund $70

I thought of using an icemaker water line kit to tap into the main vacuum line, run vacuum lines to where they are needed and then then seal off the broken fittings with epoxy or something.

Any thoughts or ideas?
