Make sure that when the key is turned to the on position that the stop lever is up all the way. It is suppose to be down when the key is off. That was the only thing that kept my SDL from starting. Somehow my shut-off valve was damaged at the rod so it couldn't move freely, no idea how it happened but it's fixed, 2 run-aways later!
