I am assisting a neighbor's son in putting his steering wheel back together ... is early to mid 1980s W126 300SD.

I have looked carefully through my CDROM for that era and can't find anything that approaches a schematic or parts diagram ... can someone help us out?

At issue is how the springs fit into the remainder of the assembly ... the wheel has the usual slip on rubber cover ... no airbag.
