Two citroens and a V12 mercedes? Yikes. at least you've got lots of other cars for transportation to get to the parts shop
Sears sells one that some people have referred to as decent and cheap. I got mine off ebay, all fancy with a PC rs-232 interface that I never use anyway. If it's got duty cycles then it's probably good enough. I would contemplate getting one of the nice handheld Fluke meters with the oscilloscope and inductive pickup. With all those cars at least it'll get alot of use.
