yes I'm talking about the back seat of course. the owner's manual says there is an upper tether point but there isn't unless it is invisible.

Are you looking in the back seat? In Germany it is against the law to haul a child younger than 11 years old in the front seat, so if there is anything there it will probably only be in the back seat.
