Ahh, that first cylinder to fire is such a sweet sound. I haven't rebuilt any diesels (yet) but that first crackle out of the header pipe on a gasser drag car engine was always music. I don't think the neighbors always agreed, but then again we were usually just getting the engine back together at about 2 a.m on a Friday morning.
