You drain out the reservoir (on the newer ones it needs to be sucked out-oh, excuse me "extracted"- and refilled, then the reservoir is pressureized and bled at all 4 corners until it is clean. On a real "dirty" system it's easy to tell when it's clean, on a car being done every 2 years, it's harder to tell, I usually let each corner "run" for a minute or so on the rear, half a minute on the front.....Gilly
