I've been to Sun Valley MB dismantlers and was not impressed with the cleanlinest of the shop. Its pretty dirty and I can't understand how on earth they can remanufacture a quality rebuild. A quality trans rebuild requires almost a clean room environment.

If you want a top of the line rebuild contact Transmeister in Orange County CA. Ted only rebuilds MB transmissions and 90% of his work is other SO CA MB mechanics who can't afford a full time trans mechanic. He only uses factory parts for the rebuild AND the trans is shipped out looking like a factory rebuild. He's been rebuilding MB trans for 15 years. He can retro a 4 speed into a 6 speed too!

I've been there, its very very clean and he has a good rep here in SO CA. He is also more money than SV. Get what you pay for. His prices are about 20% to 40% less than a factory rebuild.
