Yup!!!
The C-class/W202 Chassis will not "forget" codes no matter how long you remove the battery, nor is there a reset button... except with the diagnostic computer at the dealers...
Basically, you stuck with that code until you bring it to the dealers.
This is what two independent techs told me... Plus, I tried the "removing the battery" bit.... didnt work...
