SL 280SL Stalls

After about 15 min. my 280 SL stalls. If I let it rest a few minutes, it will start and run for a couple of minutes and then quits again. The car is not driven very often, less than 100 miles a year. The tank was filled about a year ago. No prior problems of this nature.
