Usually all the instruments are on a single fuse, but I don't know off the top of my head on that car.
Check the fuses -- if they are the old "bullet" ceramic ones, consider replacing them all as they corrode and fatigue -- the actual fuse link is aluminum, and it will fatigue crack across. Looks fine until you take it out when it falls apart.
If the fuse is bad, you also likely don't have fuel or temp guages, either, and on the W124, no brake lights!
