Oil level sender failure?
I have searched the threads and now am wondering what to do next.
I replaced the oil level sender with a new one and still the light in the dash comes on much of the time. I then replaced the wire connector at the sender, no change.
The light comes on most of the time even though the oil level on the dipstick is fine. I am about to pull the instrument panel and disconnect the light especially since the car doesn't really use much oil, and I check it all the time any way.
Is there some sort of circuit board attached to the instrument panel that would cause the problem?
