Hello all, we presently own a 1990 300e and have been very pleased with its dependability and performance, other than a valve tap, its been a great car(I'd like to fix the tapping though). My dilema is that my 16 year old just got her license and I want to purchase her a larger car. I came across a 1986 420sel with 153000 mi. on it in real good shape. It does idle rough though and was wondering what pitfalls you all have run into with this model. I can pick it up for about $2000.00. I searched the various forums and have found various issues, anyone care to chime in? Thanks!!
