I'm drifting off subject here but I was hit by a coyote recently. We were both going about 35 mph - I on the street, he coming down a blind driveway at a 90 degree angle. I had no time to react at all. He, of presumably better reflexes, hit his brakes and slowed but couldn't stop. He me squarely in the passenger side front door with his head. It was a rather loud crash but the door wasn't damaged. The last I saw of the coyote he was walking in small circles on the shoulder. I would imagine it left a bump.
