help! i have a couple of questions on my 2000 mb s500 transmission.

i purchased the car from a local dealer (not a mb certified dealer).

the car has 55K miles.

last night i decided to change the oil myself and when i took the panels off i noticed transmission fluid collected on the one of the panel.

i examined the transmission and surrounding area as best as i could with the limited view and access but could not determine if there is a leak or where the leak is coming from if there is a leak.

what can i do to make sure there is no leak?

if there is a leak where it is likely to be coming from?

any suggestions or pointers on how i can get this problem fix would be greatly appreciated.
