Hi all.
My 89 300e is having a hard time shifting into gear 3 and 4. The strange thing is that its intermittant. one time it was stuck in 2nd and would only go 20 mph at 4-5000 rpm. This morning it ran just fine. I had the filter and fluids changed out about 5-10,000 miles ago. This trannie was rebuilt by the dealer at 90,000 and now has 217K. She has always shifted a little abrupt even with little throttle.
Anybody have an absolute answer??
if not
could it be the valve body
filter clogging
or is the trannie shot??
