I didn't know where to post this. It's a Technical question, I have an SL, but it's really for my Escape :-}

The wife gave me a really nice sun shield for the windshield, but the face is silver foil.
Years ago, a friend who owned an apartment building complained about one of his rentors using tin foil as drapes, and the affect -very negative - it had on the window glass.

Is my memory failing or ???

This thing is really nice, but HUGE. It's too big for my Escape
