Jack, I suspect that the lower cladding is the same as the 124 cars. Remove the screw at the bottom rear edge of the cladding. Next pull/pry the bottom edge to release the white plastic clips. After the bottom of the cladding is free slide the cladding panel toward the rear of the car to release the top clips. Expect to replace some/all of the white plastic clips before you reinstall the cladding as they are brittle and many will break during the removal process.
