What I see is an adjustment screw sticking horizontal out of the bottom of the turbo compressor and right above the motor mount. I'm sure this is it but I would feel a lot better adjusting it with some confirmation.
Is that locknut the same 8mm that's found on the Garret? It looks like a PITA to adjust. I'm worse than lakerat. I only have about 1" of clearance. Hmmm, I'm gonna have to do a search on motor mounts.

Danny, I have a 83 300TD with the same turbo. What I found is that there is a vertical drop of the walls near the wastegate. That said looking into mounts won't help. I took few pictures how to do it, and some other projects, but for the life of me I can't find the cable that connects the Digi to my laptop. I'll post pictures as soon as I find the cable.
Question for the forum members: In order to increase the boost should I turn the 3mm alen CW or CCW (after the release of the lock nut)?
