I would appreciate any help regarding my starting problem. I have a 1986 300E that has been giving me problems starting lately. When the motor is cold, like first thing in the morning or after several hours being unused, I have to make several attempts to get it working. The motor turns over but will not start until the second or third attempt. I have recently replaced all six spark plugs, the gas filter and have put in fuel injection cleaner twice. My second or third attempt, the car will usually start. If I turn it off after it has started, it will start up right away.
Does anyone have an idea what my problem could be?
