The 124 chassis got cabin air filters for the '94-'95 model years only. The big black HVAC box which houses the blower motor, AC evap, heater core, etc. was redesigned to incorporate the filters. It can actually be retrofitted to earlier cars if you are willing to invest a crazy amount of time and money into an older car...
