Probably need to wait more than around 4 hrs to get an answer on something like this but I will take a shot although my experience has been on a W124.
Is there an allen head fastener in the center of the clutch? If there is then you should be able to look on the backside of the clutch and see a "notch" to be able to stick a rod into to hold it in position while you remove the allen head fastener (conventional threads).
