I apologize for my silly post but I need some help. My 82 300D turbo did not come with any manuals. I am about to change my tranny filter and fluid and I would like to know what the fluid of choice is for my car. My Haynes manual calls for ATF with Dexron II but the only thing I see in stores is DexronIII. I am concerned with putting ATF in, as my current fluid is not red in color. Well, can some one help me please? Thank you in advance for your help.
