Thanks for the info.

Looking at the mount, I figured the torque specs were critical. The mount life would be shorten or the mount may be damaged if the torque was too high or too low.

25 N for the lower hex bolt is not that much. Neither is the 75N for the top hex nut.

My guess is if the mount is not torqued correctly, it will fail prematurely. This is aggravated by the fact that there is fluid in it. Unlike the 617 mounts that r purely rubber, this mount is hydraulic.

Could the incorrect torque specs have caused these mounts to fail prematurely on some cars?

Some of u folks have said that the dealer mounts are better than OEM. For those that failed with OEM mounts, when installing these mounts on ur car, did u use a torque wrench to tighten to specs ?
