Just for the fun of it
I worked all weekend on my car with doors open and many starts. Of course, I finally drained the battery.
Well, I got i charged enough to get i started and drove an hour to get it better charged.
Next day I drove to work, and when I was going home in the late afternoon, the starter did not react at all. I was extremely busy, and my immediate thought was that the cells had collapsed. I needed the car for a long journey early next morning, and the shops were about to close, so I was desperate to reach a shop in a hurry.
I cancelled my other activities, and I barely made it to the shop. I got the new battery installed.... but same result: No start.
The problem: Remember to set the gear in Park position.
