No codes appear in my computer; moreover, this evening, I verified that my idle speed is OK (about 750-800, in "D").

I will replace my idle bearing in a few weeks, since it sounds a little shot (rough, slight grinding sound). Then, when my checkbook regains its balance, I'll launch into the assault on this problem, again.

Thank you for your reminder; however, believe me when I say that I revisit this thread very often to make sure I have not overlooked any detail/possibility/variable/clue.
