stockdad, you're better off getting it replaced. BTW, get the seal from the dealer. I bet at least 3/4 of the people who I've talked to about replacing MB window gaskets said their aftermarket seals leaked. The aftermarket seal that was put on my 116 leaked the day after it was put in. 3 visits later it still leaked. I think it slowed down later though. Moral of the story, go to the dealer and pay the $85 or whatever it is then pay the additional $100 for installation and enjoy a dry trunk. If you take it to a glass shop they could probably tell you whether or not it is leaking. Or, just have someone lock you in the trunk and have them spray it with water. You, using a flashlight should be able to trace it even if it is a minor leak. Just be sure to pull out the trunk lining so you can see everywhere, then, make sure they'll let you out. (take a cell phone with you incase the person spraying dies suddenly from a freak accident)

Do you have any tears in your trunk seal?

Thanks
David
