I too had some rough idle and troulble starting... I replaced the primer pump... a little better, then I replaced the fuel filters... even better... then I noticed severe deterioration of the rubber fuel lines... the one between the primary fuel filter and the pick-up pump was actually split
, so I replaced those rubber hoses and she runs well now
