There was a post over on benzworld under the 140 forum about a guy who had the same problem- a stripped gear. He took the gear off and took it to a "gear cutter"- someone who makes gears. I guess you can find these folks in most major metro areas. Anyway, the guy had a new gear made for under $20.00 I believe. Maybe something to check out.
