Glad you responded, I consider your opinion to be fact in most cases. I replaced the drivers side mount a week ago because the old one was toast, only half the rubber there with air space on the fender side. The passenger side the mount seems solid and operating. I've kind of looked at the tranny mount but it didn't seem to be falling apart, rubber wise that is. How can you tell if the motor shocks have gone bad on you or not? Is there leaking or what that indicates this as the problem? I'd hate to change them out and find I wasted hard earned cash for nothing. I keep hearing about rack dampner adjustment, but on my M/W injection pump, there is no nut or anything on the rear of the pump besides the vacuum shut-off valve. Where's the rack dampner adjustment on this IP? Bill, if you have any ideas to check out, let me know, I'm inclined to cure this small irritant.
