I still haven't been able to cure the shakes my 1982 300SD has. I've installed all new engine/transmission mounts, got a new rack dampener screw, and re-timed the injection pump all to no avail. The car shakes side to side when the car is stopped. It feels like I'm sitting on top of an unbalanced washing machine. I would give anything to fix this problem. The car drives beautifully, though, at speed.
