I've read a ton of threads about installing keyless entrys but I still have questions. Imagine that! Is the actuator pump in the trunk of my 83? If the drivers door has a three wire connector for central locking, can't I just wire my keyless to that instead of going to the trunk? It would seem to be the easiest way, if indeed an 83 has all this - it's hard to tell on some of the links what year the person answering is talking about. One last thing - to wire the remote starter up - does anyone have a diagram or the color codes for the wires used (starter, ign. #1 etc.) Most of the info I find is for newer models or it doesen't say what year it is.
