Another problem with my 500SL - when I close the top it operates fine until it reaches the very front area where it latches onto the car above the windshield.

It won't secure itself until I pull (hard!) on the top, then it secures itself (locks) into place. (sorry, this is the best description I can come up with).

Any thoughts? I'm wondering where this is a '91 and came from Arizona if it just needs lubing, or, if it's somehow out of position?!
