I just got some "cheapware" off e-Bay that lets me not only manipulate EQ settings to .wav tracks, but a number of effects are included including adjustments of pitch, speed, and tempo, as well as normalization (averaging out the low and high volumes in a selected passage).

I just finished recording samples of a variety of voice tracks from a weekend soccer tournament for my daughter's team, and laid the voiceovers to a CD track to complete our official "fight" song.

When you're done, you can convert the finished product to mp3 as well.
