Hey Y'all,

Just a quick question.... What should my '81 300SD be running at as far as temp goes?? Granted it has been up around 100 degrees and of course the A/C is cranked up. Last week got stuck in traffic and she started to wander up above 100 so got home and checked the coolant level and it WAS a little low... then I guess my STUPID A$$ either didnt put the cap on tight or on at all and the next day she like redlined, once again re-filled with coolant (making sure the cap was in place this time) Then noticed it was dripping a bit of coolant. Thought that I may have just over filled but stopped by my mechanic's anyway. He found and pointed out that the water-pump was leaking a bit. So I had him replace the pump and change out the thermostat today while I was at work. Driving home it still seemed to be up there teasing 100 and at stop would go a bit above. Any input would be GREAT!
