Greetings All,

For awhile there I thought I was going nuts looking for an adjusting screw that didn't exist. Couldn't believe that I had a Mercedes service manual on my series engine and after some three thousand pages it seems and no screw to be found. The slight vibration I feel could easily be the engine shock absorber, but just looking at it I guess a person can't tell if they're good or bad. Any idea as to what the innards of these shocks use for a cushioning agent. Is it just another spring inside, rubber or fluid filled?
