Thinking of all of the mounts that I have seen, they have all been rubber through and through.
Regarding your rocking...some people have gotten good, albeit temporary results, by using some Disel Fuel Catalyst (RedLine product) and then driving the hell out of it on the freeway...to "dust things off a bit". Its worth a shot.
