I have a Mercedes Benz E300D Auto saloon 1995 (Last of the W124 Models)
The cruise ontrol has stopped working. The original ECU had a part no
014 545 40 32. I have replaced the ECU with a secondhand unit part no
005 545 05 32 but the cruise control still does not operate.
Can you inform please if the replacement unit should work or is it the wrong part or does it need programming / coding to operate.
