That makes sense. I was hoping not though because it's odd that it's only one side. Does the oil pressure for the cam come up that side? Would re-torquing help?

One thing I noticed that doesn't make too much sense is that there is a pocket in the passenger side engine mount bracket and it's fill of oil. It's about 3 or 4 inches away from the block. I guess the oil could be dripping from the air cleaner though.

Did any of these engines have something to catch the oil in the crankcase ventilation hose?
