Respectfully, I really have not been here very long, and I don't know what year to propose as a cutoff, but I keep seeing more and more questions about sensors, lites and computers that I've never heard of AND more importantly never WANT to know about...

My 2 reasons for owning my benz are 1. Style and 2. Simplicity.(AKA I can fix it 95% of the time)

I don't know how much technology is shared by my 1980 123 and a 1995 300d, but are they similar enough to coexist in Diesel discussion?

Certainly don't want to alienate anyone, please don't get me wrong...

I'd post in vintage mercedes, but that place is a ghost town.
