i perhaps should say it clearly. the reason these building materials and steel are up is that we are sending shiploads of materials to iraq to build bases for our troops there.

i am not saying that this is necessarily wrong, but the true cost of the war there is not being talked about.

there is the obvious cost of having our men and women there and the costs of munitions and food and fuel etc... but a huge cost in inflation of the things that we need here to carry on day to day life.
