I think that is a good insight.
Palangi, I was kind of trying to make a joke about it. OTOH, I really do think that folks in their late teens through mid-thirties ought to take risks before they 'settle' for something. A gov or USPS job is, IMO, settling.
What advances the world is NOT 40 year-olds and older. It is 15 year-olds to 30 year-olds. Risk takers who have an ill-conceived or ill-assimilated concept about the absolute finality of existence. People will take risks as long as they think failure is something that happens to others. Old fartism is when you know it can happen to you. As you get older, your liklihood of surving risk attenuates, so old fartedness is the handmaiden of reducing risk.
