Very good question because I have the same problem. My 1992 300D 2.5 blows hot air out.

This morning I had it recharged with R12, there are no bubbles in the glass hole. But still blowing cold air, the auxillary fans dont come on. The weather today is about 65-75 degrees. Any ideas?
