I was just puttering around on my Euro W123 parts car and pulled the Air Cleaner off for the first time (in search of some fitting or another) and was rather surprised to see that the carb was a four barrel
. First one that I had ever seen on a Benz. I thought they had skipped straight from a pair of dueces (like my dad's old 108 250S) to injection. That little guy must have been quite a rip!
Too bad he'll never see the road again...
Hey, It is a parts car, so if anyone is interested in the carb/intake let me know and I'll yank it out for you.
