Ok Alex... Thanks. It does help. Gives me a lead to follow. I want to check out that stop light switch...and its relation to pin 8.
I got current to the switch now and it is working fine. Pulled the steering wheel and switch and ran checks on the wiring down to the female terminal of the amplifier.
For some reason I am getting battery voltage at pin 11 when I plug the amp into the female terminal (speed sensor test). According to directions I should only get 2 volts at 25 mph. This may indicate a direct short.
Any Idea where the speed sensor is located?
My info says its a "Hall-effect speed sensor B6".
