I have the itch to buy another car. I have noticed that there a number of 420sels for sale in my area in my price range (under $3,000) with mileage in the 120,000 to 200,000 range. What is the general opinion here on these? One in particular is a 1986 with 127,000 miles on it for $2,400 that the owner says will need a "valve job" soon. I assume this means valve seals. I have owned a number of mercedes and do most of my own work. Should I consider buying one of these?
