The mass of electrical problems gives me the impression that your CL is a flood damaged car. Tracking down those electrical gremlings will be time consuming and costly. Remember that car is MB's flagship coupe, which costs $100k new. Hunting for a place that will repair this car for a reasonable price will be challenging. I think you're in over your head, and should resell that lemon.
Nothing costs more than a cheap Mercedes.
