Thumbs up Discount!

No, No, coils are down to 980 bucks. I quoted someone $5000 in parts and labor today just to bring a 2001 CL600 with 80,000mi up to current running
standard. New ECI rails, Plugs, ME flash, Voltage Tansformer, and De-clog
passenger front cover. $5000 JUST TO START! Yikes. I told them only,
after the ignition system was 100%, could I address the Blue smoke and
oil consumption issue. That may be an additional $35,000 for a new engine.
Client almost had heart attack. At least their 8 o2 sensors and 6 cats are ok.
That would add and additional $10,000 to repl.
Man, I never thought a Ferrari would look cheaper to own.
"project" and "600" should never go together.

Think the dealer is expensive? Do you know how much it costs to train a dealer tech? Or buy the required MB special tools to have on hand?
